On Sunday, October 6th, at 4:00 pm Central, the University of North Texas (UNT) Music Department will be honoring award-winning composer and UNT composer-in-residence Bruce Broughton at their annual Gala. The orchestra will play a 1 ½ hour concert of Broughton’s film music, including Silverado, Tombstone, The Rescuers Down Under, Harry and the Hendersons, and many more.

Tickets for the event are available through Thempac.com at a cost of $25 per person. The concert will also be streamed live on recording.music.unt.edu. An interview with Broughton will follow.
